Bayard-Emory correspondence
This collection contains thirteen letters, nine of which are from Bayard to Emory. The correspondence is mainly of a political and diplomatic nature. Bayard Emory to be Director of the Pan American Union. In the letters Bayard discusses events of the day, personal views on Presidents Grover Cleveland and William McKinley, treaties (especially arbitration concerning the preservation of seals in the Bering Sea), the silver standard and free coinage of silver, and tariff reform.
Glenn papers
The collection is comprised primarily of correspondence as well as legal documents, deeds, wills and indentures, and some of Judge John Glenn's and his son William Wilkins Glenn’s personal correspondence, including letters from Reverdy Johnson, Daniel Webster, Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, Maryland Governor Thomas Pratt, General Henry Heth, General Louis Wigfall.
William M. Marine collection
William Matthew Marine, 1843-1904, was a Baltimore attorney, the collector of the Port of Baltimore during the 1890's, and an amateur writer. This collection contains 32 boxes comprised of his legal and political correspondence, notes, and clippings from 1808-1904.
